Purchasing Pony Play, Kinky Gear & Tools and Supplies from Amazon.com

I compiled a list (loosely similar to my page on eBay auctions) of some ponyplay and fetish/kink related products for sale on Amazon.com. In addition, I have also included links to supplies and tools needed (or at least helpful) for making your own pony and kink gear. I've also thrown in links to some of the equipment I use to create content (e.g. my DSLR and mirrorless cameras and lenses, video capture devices for live streaming, props, etc.).
Where possible, I also try to link back to the article (where there is one, or articles where there are more than one) on cpony.com that uses, reccomends, or discusses the item.
Finally, an important but quick note I wanted to share: as of mid-2025, I have started to add affiliate links into my website1. Note that it will not affect how much you pay for a product (unless I am able to negotiate a discout with the merchant). Practically speaking, what this means is when you click a link below that takes you off to an Amazon listing, and then you further decide to buy the item, Amazon will pay me a percentage (low single digits if you were wondering) of the purcahse cost.
If you want to read more about why and which affiliate links I'm adding, check out the footnote (and if you still want to learn more after that, you can follow the links for the technical side of the website and the tech blog to learn more about the decision and the past, present, and future of cpony.com. I also go into all kinds of fun stuff like my decision awhile back to shut off all webserver logs and delete all copies of archived logs (can't turn over to anyone what I don't have lol).
And finally without further ado, using Amazon to further your pony play:
Pony Play Tack, Supplies, and Products
- The Human Pony (Kindle Copy) - USD $26.99 - One of the original, classic Human Pony books around, this is something most enthusiastic pony players should consider perusing at least once. Depending on your experience level and why you gravitate towards pony play, you may or may not find this book especially useful. Nevertheless, it truly is worth at least thumbing through once because, well, sometimes you don't know what you don't know. I reviewed this book a few years ago.
- The Riding School Vol 1 - USD $5.38 - An erotic story of a female being transformed into a human ponygirl. I Christina Mandara's "The Riding School (Part 1)" immediately post-publication and found it wonderfully erotic. I believe there is a second volume, which I am looking forward to enjoying (and subsequently reviewing.
- Neoprene Horse Hobbles - USD $23.99. Along with bits, hobbles are one of the only directky translatable items from bio-horse sports to pony play. Horse hobbles can be directly used as human pony hobbles! Additionally, you can also use them to restrain a two legged pony's arms.
- Horseshoe Shaped (Cross) Tie Rings - USD $23.99. Wall mountable horseshoe-shaped tie or cross tie rings. Tie your human pony to this ring while tacking them up, or cross tie yhem to a pair of them for vet play or farrier play, just good old fashioned BDSM scenes if you have recalcitrant bondage ponyboy.
List of Materials & Tools For the DIY Hoof Boot Tutorial
If you're following my Reactor-esque DIY hoof boot tutorial, below is a list of the items you need. However, please be warned (or at keast maybe cautioned), it is easy to accidentally get the incorrect item (Amazon and other retailers will return wrong results for your query in hope of you buying something else, which is especially bad here when the item is being used to support your weight), for example, searching for 16 gauge steel, I had a few incorrect result (but close enough to fool someone not looking very carefully) pop in the midst of the correct result.s- 2 square feet (24 inches x 12 inches) 16 gauge mild steel - Needed for the base and frame of the hoof part of the boot. Might need to get 2 of these, but if you are efficient about it, you should be more than fine with two square feet.
- 1/8 inch steel plate (12 inches x 24 inches) - The second option for rhe base and fram of the hooves. Instead of using two pieces of 16 gauge steel sandwiched together, you can use one piece of 1/8" steel. This is probably the better option structurally and time-wise, but will require a bit more expertise with the forge.
Photography, Videography, and Audio Gear for Taking Kinky Photos & Video
As I mentioned on my page on photography and videography,- Canon R5C - USD $3399 - I recently upgraded to this camera from my prior body (a Canon 5D Mark IV), which I personally like becasue it combines a fairly complete feature list of photography options and abilities, with a fairly decent feature set of videography/cinematography abilities (I know mnay will hate on it and believe you need a dedicated video camera and a dedicated still camera - if money were not an object, for sure, I would definitely do that, but since it is, I looked around for the one that has as many of the photo and video features that I want while still being under my budget (ok well maybe not under, but as little over budget as I was able to go). It (and most mirrorless) eat batteries like nothing else, especially in video, and especially in 8K raw video (reminds me of the OG 1080p Blackmagic I used to have), so keep that in mind. There are a couple workable solutions such as keeping it plugged in for studio work, or using a baterry mount.
You can check periodically for new additions. Also, please feel free to send me links of products that you think should be included here.
Footnotes
Also, just to be absolutely clear: I have never, do never, and would never include any afiliate link (or other link for that matter) on my website that would cost you any more than if you found that product without an affiliate code. Pony play (and life) is expensive enough, and my goal with this site is to demystify pony play, let you know it's not weird, and give you enough information about it for you to go off and decide if pony play is right for you.
If you decide that pony play is for you, then I get the opportunity to help you try and find gear that you love, looks great, and does not cost you needlessly. So, no, I never, ever, will knowingly post a link (or even join an affiliate program) that refers to you to page, product, company, whatever that requires you to spend more money. I have seen others do this (not so much in pony play thankfully) and I personally have a rather intense dislike for the practice. I have even seen some poeple (only two separate people have I seen do this, but it is two too many) charge ponies and kinksters money for something that is free (and no value as added by the individuals selling this free "product". These people just played on the fact that it was not widely known that what these two were selling, was, in fact, freely available for any who wanted it.
I digress again - every time, I'm far too easily distracted by relative minutiae...if you want to read more about details of addition to affiliate links, you can at the page linked above and here. I call them affiliate links lke they are this big thing. They're not. They are the same link, going to the same store, with maybe 5-10 chractaes addedd on to the end of the URL string that tells the store that cpony has reccommended their store and to please send cpony a percentage if the product reccommended sells.
